Guest Post: Looking Perfect for your Dream Job Interview!

by - July 09, 2015

Nothing can compare with the exciting feeling when you receive a call for your dream job interview. Once you finish that call, you begin to understand that everything you do during that interview can completely change your life and that’s when you start freaking out. But then you start reading about the company, get all the information you need and start to get yourself together. You say to yourself: "I can do it!". But then other things start to worry you - "What should I wear?" When you finally decide what you want to wear, the next thing on the list is makeup and hair. So, how does professional hair and makeup look like?
Professional hair and makeup are a vital part of your professional outfit. They tell a lot about your personality and women with an office hairstyle and classy, neutral makeup will always seem more professional and fit for the job. Achieving flawless makeup and hairstyle is much simpler than it seems. Here are a couple of amazing tips on how to choose your ideal makeup and hairstyle.

Office hairstyle choices
Hair plays a vital role for any look and in order to show it off in the best possible way, you need to be realistic about it. Curly or straight, every hair type requires special treatment and approach. What you should always keep in mind is that you should always try to look neat. There are various hairstyles you should try out to look professional and elegant. For example, if you want to achieve a stylish, yet effortless look on an interview, you could simply pull your hair back in a low ponytail or bun. Hair down is also highly recommended, but only if you don’t nervously fiddle or smooth it all the time.
Less is more!
When it comes to choosing perfect makeup for your first job interview, you need to think about the impression you want to make. Whether you plan to work in a corporate or a more relaxed, creative setting, there is just one important rule- Less is always more! This means that you should always choose stylish, yet natural makeup.
What you should always keep in mind is that your dream job interview isn’t a place where you are supposed to rock the latest runway trend. Leave such experiments to a night out with friends and choose something more pleasant and natural instead. Always go for quality makeup that won’t cause any unpleasant inflammations and that will help you achieve classy and radiant look, such as Jane Iredale.  You should never wear too much makeup, as it will always look like you’re trying too hard to look good or that you have no taste. Go for the foundation that is adequate for your complexion and then complement it with a warm blush nuance. Apart from achieving radiant and smooth skin, you should always try to emphasize just one feature of your face. For example, if you go for bold lips, you should choose nude or bright eye shadow and vice versa. Finally, remember- smokey eye and radiant lipsticks are not appropriate for a job interview.

Building a successful professional career is a long process and with the perfect outfit, hair and makeup, you  have a great chance of getting your dream job. Good luck!
